Calculator from HTC HD2

Techparaiso recently posted a post which contain the calculator from the HTC HD2. It supports landscape and portrait mode and is available for all resolutions. There are seperate versions available one for the memory card and the other for the main memory. They have also released the OEM versions for chefs. via Pocketnow

Freda

Freda , short for free reader is a pocket pc software for reading eBooks on Windows Mobile devices. It can read txt, html and (DRM-free) ePub files. It’s in ‘public beta’ at the moment, so please send any feeback to the developer. The program uses two third-party libraries, SharpZipLib and the Majestic-12 HTMLParser library; both are licensed on terms permitting their redistribution for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Shp Notepad is a simple to use text editor for Windows Mobile devices. There’s not much more to say than that. It currently includes almost all features supported in the full Windows Version of Notepad, and a couple more:

File Menu: New, Open, Save, Save As, Last 4 opened files on File menu under “Recent”
Edit Menu: Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Find…, Replace, Select All, Insert Time/Date
Format Menu: Change Font, Word Wrap

TypeNote, created by ronnyh, is a simple application for taking notes, sorted by category. It was made for the HTC Diamond, but it should resize to fit most screen sizes.

Version 0.9.8.1:

* Auto open category (usefull if you often use one category more often than others)
* Hide buttons and title while editing.. gives more space for text.
* Portable application (does not require re-install if folder moved and system re-installed)
* Open files from file explorer(open with), (only if program is not already started)
* If custom folder is used, files from root will be added in “Main” category.
* Animation can be switched on/off
* Warning “note already exist” can be switched on/off
* Place buttons (save, Cancel, Delete) above the keyboard (no need to close keyboard to see the buttons)

Changes in Version 0.9.2:

- Uses .Net 2 instead of 3.5 now
- Categories (add new, rename, delete)
- All notes separated by category (for ex. \Notes\ToDo\Shopping.txt)
- Reads all .txt files from folders in \Notes instead of using a list-file.
- Lists are sorted alphabetically.
- Text in note can be temporarily resized to better fit the screen (makes it easier to type in landscape mode)

Yammer is a tool for making companies and organizations more productive through the exchange of short frequent answers to one simple question: “What are you working on?”. In short Yammer is a micro-messaging tool. ( I am thinking Twitter but for companies and organizations only )

Acoording to TechCrunch Yammer’s Windows Mobile app has a sleek interface. You can view feeds, post updates and replies, look up colleagues, and place calls to colleagues from your Yammer network. The Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 plug-in gives users much of the same functionality as Yammer desktop app. From a secure, separate pane within the Office client, Yammer users can post status updates, view feeds, reply to messages, upload attachments, send messages to Yammer groups, and invite colleagues.
