mySpot is a pocket pc software that provides access to the Spotify service on the Windows Mobile platform. It should works with any QVGA, VGA or WVGA device running Windows Mobile 6.0 or higher (see the additional requirements below). Spotify is a proprietary peer-to-peer music streaming service that allows instant listening to specific tracks or albums with virtually no buffering delay. Music can be browsed by artists, albums, record labels or created playlists as well as by direct searches. Although, due to the system’s DRM, it is not possible to save the streamed music for use outside the application, a link is provided to allow the listener to directly purchase the material via partner retailers. The service is currently only available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, the United Kingdom, France and Spain.

The idea behind tinyCAM is to use the integrated camera and be able to connect using the web browser of another computer/pda to remotely monitor what is being captured. Might only work on WiFi. In case it’s needed to be on the operator network you can still use the Motion Detector + FTP upload feature in order to receive the captured images to a ftp server of your choice.

It seems Microsoft has updated its Facebook app in Marketplace to 1.1 (formerly 1.0.0.7p). The official Facebook page for Windows Mobile does not list this latest version, but Brendo has provided it on xda developers for those who can’t use Marketplace. It is not clear what changes have been made because everything seems to look the same. Users claim it is more stable, so it could be worth the upgrade.
