WIFI Remote Access is a pocket pc software which will allow you to explore the content of your Windows Phone directly from your computer, through a WIFI connection without installing any client software on the computer! All you need is to open your web browser, and type the IP address of your phone (which is displayed on your phone screen). You will then be able to browse your data, pictures, and music and send files from your computer to your device. You can see pictures and listen music on your computer directly from the web interface. It also features a registry editor, for people who like to tweak their Windows Mobile device. Users can also browse pics using 3D XBAP (XAML Browser Application) / WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) UI. You can also upload files via this interface.

HG-Entine 0.3.1

ShaWn.cz created a holographic engine that lets you interact with your accelerometer and screen in a 3D-like atmosphere. The project is in very early development stage, but with further enhancements it could turn into a very impressive app. This version is more like a demo and contains a preview hologram environment with cube creation and movement.

How to draw cube:

- Push the position where you want to start and by holding stylus on display move wherever you want
- Okay, now you have a square, push stylus to display and move on x-axis to define back side
- Final stage, repeat step 2 for define front side

How to move cube:

- In this version you can move only with last created cube
- Simply select Move Tool in Features menu and slide or click to destination

Note: Only for WVGA resolution.

Resco Photo Viewer Beta 5 – cool photo album for Windows Mobile

Resco could be releasing their popular photo viewer commercially soon, so get it while it’s still in beta. This update brings mostly bug fixes, full feature set after the jump.

A multitude of bug fixes:

* Slideshow bug was fixed
* Bug when reaching the last picture in fullscreen was fixed
* Setting picture as Homescreen was fixed (now works also on WM 6.5 and covers also top and bottom bar)
* ASCI… text in Exif was fixed (removed)
* Double tap on small picture (if the setting Enlarge Small Images) zooms it to fit the screen, another will unzoom it to 100%

IMAG to Date 2.0 – rename pics taken with your camera by date on Windows Mobile

IMAG to Date

IMAG to Date renames image files like JPG, GIF, and BMP to Date Formatted filenames – MMddyyyyHHmm_RID (R.I.D. Random ID). The dates are based on the Date when the file is created. By default, your camera will name the files by numbers, which makes it incredibly annoying when looking for specific pics taken long ago. Please note, there are versions for .net cf 2.0 and 3.0.

Version 2.0 (Sep. 5, 2009):

FIXED:
- “Default path” issue when launching the NETCFFolderDialog (not a NETCFFolderDialog bug).
ADDED:
- Adding custom text in Date Format by adding arguments.
- Double-tapping on file list item will launch your default Picture Viewer.
UPDATE:
- Removed texts on top of the file list.

Resco PhotoViewer Alpha

Resco puts out some nice software like their file explorer, contact manager and pocket radio. One of their apps, in dire need of an overhaul, has been updated and is in the Alpha stages prior to official release. Please note that Resco Photo Viewer is a commercial application and this is just a preview of it. See new features and try it out after the break.

Here is Resco’s statement:

“For everyone that desperately awaits the release of the new version of the Photo Viewer, we have prepared an Alpha version. This version was not tested properly so far, so some crucial bugs might appear but even though this version seems to be pretty stable in normal use. Of course not all features are implemented so far but the most prior functions are. We will appreciate some bug reports if you will encounter some, but please don’t be too critical, it is only an Alpha version after all.”
