Around 3 weeks back, just prior to the 2012 Mobile World Congress, we reported about the Nokia Lumia 719 and it passing its Bluetooth SIG. While we all hoped that this would be one of the announced models at the 2012 MWC, that was not to be the case. However, the Nokia Lumia 719 is back in the limelight. The official Chinese government radio management agency has listed this mysterious Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 900 as passing its certification and will be joining the HTC Titan as the first Windows Phones to be marketed in the enormous Chinese wireless market. It is not known which build the 719 will be running, however, I would have to believe it’s Tango.

After making Internet history as the first review site for kids’ apps, Windows Phone Parent has unveiled its latest project called Windows Phone Tales, a series of videos featuring stories inspired by Windows Phone applications. Told entirely from a child’s perspective, Windows Phone Tales showcase Windows Phone applications that children can enjoy and use in their daily lives, and the idea is to put a whole new spin on the review format people have been accustomed to, by creating video reviews that not only Windows Phone users but also iPhone and Android users will love.

Instead of focusing on an application’s strong and weak points, Windows Phone Tales focus on how the magical experience children live through using a mobile application goes a long way, staying with them even when they are away from their mobile devices. Typically two to three minutes long, Windows Phone Tales use stop motion and soothing background music to tell a simple story revolving around a girl and her Windows Phone application.

So you’re looking for a great device for a great price? Looking to upgrade or know somebody who is ready to become a WP owner? Vodafone UK wants to help make that happen! The Nokia Lumia 710 has been reduced in price at Vodafone UK down to £150. Thats not all, this great deal is accompanied by a free 6-month Zune Music Pass. Don’t drag your feet too long on this deal as it ends on March 31st. This is a savings of 25% off the normal price and a Zune goodie for added incentive! O2 and Three sell the Lumia 710 on pay-as-you-go tariffs for £189.99 and £199.99. This is a great deal, considering similar devices from Android with much lower specs, will run you about the same price.

There have been several countries that have been left behind when it comes to second generation Windows Phones. Canada is now confirmed to get 2nd generation support from Microsoft, by receiving the HTC Radar, Nokia 710 and 800. That left Australia as one of the larger countries still remaining without any 2nd gen. devices. With device marketshare dropping as well as a slip in mobile browser marketshare, Australia will be getting the shot in the arm they so desperately need to positively reflect the currently small and slow international growth trend of WP. With an Australian market hungry to be unpdated to 2nd gen. devices, WP should see an improvement in sales with 2 new models on the way. Read on past the break to find out which models, where, and when…
