TouchXperience - new touch experience on Windows Mobile

TouchXperience

Another windows mobile User interface anyone ? Its called TouchXperience and is the latest work from one of the greatest Windows Mobile modder ” Schaps “. I am a fan of his Custom ROMs and use his ROM on my Hermes. :). This is in development phase so it not available for download yet. A private beta should be up soon.

TouchXperience is the Next Generation User Interface for Windows Mobile, finger friendly and highly customizable, it offers many interesting features: program launcher, contacts manager, home screen, appointments, messaging, task manager, profile and event manager, call log, control panel, communication manager,…

TouchMenu is probably the most powerful and customizable menu, replacing original Start Menu for an innovative touch interface. TouchMenu supports finger scrolling and gestures, for example you can switch from a menu to another by sliding your finger left/right, or display context menu by a long press on the screen. You can also scroll menus using G-sensor. Each menu has four different views (large list, small list, large grid, small grid). As the rest of the future user interface, TouchMenu has a nice Vista/WM7 look.

HTC MyConnect 2.0, TouchBook & PL@NET - Released by HTC

PL@NET

MyConnect 2.0

HTC MyConnect 2.0 and PL@NET were released by HTC. PL@NET is a mobile service portal for Taiwan which apparently went live on the 1st of July but the portal is not in English , but you can have a look around and read through most of it using an online translator. HTC claims that this service aims to bring a host of shopping, travel and entertainment services to mobile phones.

HTC MyConnect 2.0 looked like its an application for the mobile device which connects to PL@NET and the user can access the service offered by HTC via PL@NET. The application is not in english either. you can download it from here. Once u launch the application , If u dont have Chinese language file you will get a box which might be asking you a Yes on No question. I wasnt able to connect to any pages by clicking on those fancy icons you see to your right. If any of you guys are from Taiwan and if you are able to use this service please inform us about your experience with this new service from HTC. According to HTC this platform will give handset users access to several Internet retailers, including travel planning from ezTravel, music from Warner Music, books from Eslite, online magazines from Touch Book, news from UDN, scenic-spot information sharing from NaviGuide, concert tickets from Era Ticket and Arts Ticket, and shopping via HappyGoCard.
