Digitaltrends are calling the Samsung Focus 2 an elegant, affordable new Windows Phone. The Samsung Focus 2 is the fourth Focus Windows Phone from Samsung and are calling it their favorite since the original. They do says the specs are nothing fancy like all window sphone devices it has a single core processor, a 480×800 pixel screen, and 512MB of RAM but has 4G LTE connectivity. They also point out if you want a cheap phone with LTE support Samsung Focus 2 is your best bet. if naviation is your priority you go for the Lumia 900 and for camera performance you get the Titan 2

Is the Lumia 900 camera a let-down and how is the battery life on the Lumia 900 ?

As the press is given the go ahead to push out the Nokia Lumia 900 reviews we have seen a lot of the major publications push out their review for this device that is hyped to be the best Windows Phone till date. So lets have a look at what these folks had to say about the device.

Solid 8MP rear camera and outstanding 1MP front camera make the Lumia 900 a great video phone…Battery life for the Lumia 900 is claimed to be 7 hours talk with 300 hours standby. We found in our testing the phone to last easily a full day of use though you’ll still want to charge at night. In a pinch though, you could easily go a day and half without a charge.

Um Excuse Me, My Name Is The HTC Titan™ II

April 8^th, the day in which the Nokia Lumia 900 introduces itself to the US Market via AT&T. There are a lot of consumers here in the states, who have been waiting for this day to arrive. This article won’t be about that however. Same date, same carrier, but a different story though. With no big promotion, no people clamoring for its launch, front page on AT&T’s website, heck not even on its own OEM’s front page on their website, the HTC Titan™ II will launch on April 8^th along with the Lumia 900. While kind of sad, it actually offers encouragement, the US market is showing Microsoft that they think WP is good, just not on a recycled Android device.

Nokia Lumia 800 Review

Nokia Lumia 800 has been one of the most anticipated device on Windows Phone, we have seen early unboxing video and low light samples shots from the camera and now the full blown reviews have started to come in.

Even though Nokia claims the Lumia 800 is a “refinement” of the N9 , Engadget believes the Lumia 800 had to sacrifice a lot of the good stuff N9 had ( and I have to agree with them ) some of those include pentaband 3G, front-facing camera, notification LED, screen is slightly smaller( coz of Windows Phone buttons ),only 512MB of RAM ( instead of 1GB ), only 16GB ( as opposed to 64GB ), NFC, etc . Even though the specs don’t shine through the device still performs well with Windows Phone.

HTC Titan aka the beast Software Review

Sorry it’s a little late, but here is the software review of the HTC Titan that I got to play with thanks to Clove Technology.

Now, due to Microsoft’s vision of having all Windows Phones having an identical user experience there is not very much I can say about Windows Phone itself that you won’t already have heard; so in this video, I have focussed more on what HTC have done to make their WP7 devices different from other manufacturers.

The video covers 4 areas:

Apps.
Settings.
Camera.
Ringtones.

HTC TITAN (aka, ‘the beast’) Hardware Review.

Now that Windows Phone 7.5 aka ‘Mango’ has been officially welcomed into the world, various manufacturers have started bringing out their new devices. Whilst many people are waiting around to get their hands on the new Nokia devices, other Mango phones are already available in stores for those who cant wait. One of these phones is HTC’s flagship WP7.5 device, the TITAN (a massive device akin to the HD2 and HD7) and thanks to Clove Technology for the HTC Titan, I managed to get my hands on one to play with for a week.

The folks at phonearena.com were impressed with the unibody design and display

Regarding the display : vibrant colours, solid viewing angles and good levels of responsiveness. Outdoor viewing is on the whole good as are brightness and contrast levels…The HTC Radar comes equipped with a 5MP autofocus camera with a single LED flash. Despite this sounding lackluster, we’re pleased to see an f2.2 aperture on the HTC Radar’s lens and the inclusion of touch to focus capture as well as a range of modes such as panorama, burst shot, face detection and effects….Photos taken on the handset offer a good level of detail for the most part, and while with the HTC Trophy and the HTC HD7 autofocus was hit and miss, HTC have managed to iron out any kinks. Color reproduction is accurate for the most part, if slightly dull….720p HD video performs well overall. Videos captured on the HTC Radar also play back pretty smoothly and should suffice for most day to day needs…Thanks to HTC, you can also rent films on the go through their Watch service which allows you to download movies straight to your phone while taking full advantage of the audio enhancements…Call quality on the HTC Radar is great. Tones are clear and accurately reproduced and there are no issues with regards to either volume or clarity..The HTC Radar is all the Trophy was and then some…
