The guys from WMExperts have noticed a nasty little date dug with WM devices. Text messages come dated six years from now ( 2016 ). This is what they have uncovered

• Messages received after 1/1/2010 may be dated as 2016
• Effects WM6.1, WM6.5 and even non-Windows Mobile phones
• It is ROM independent, meaning switching won’t help
• Some carriers seem to be experiencing this bug, but T-Mobile seems fine

Are you bored with HTC Sense already ? Here is a new hack from xda-developers that will spice things up a bit. Introducing colored clouds on HTC Sense. You can get these by simply installing the cab files the available colors are Light blue, Yellow or Red one. It should work on QVGA / VGA and WVGA

Installation:
- Just install the attached cab and allow restart.
- It’s not necessary disable HTC Sense.

Revert to defaults:
If you don’t like the new clouds and want to back to default ones, just uninstall from Settings/System/Remove Programs… and restart the device.

PocketNow recently posted a new way to switch between HTC Sense and SPB Mobile Shell with a single tap of a button. The script gives you a prompt that lets you pick between Sense/TF3D, Mobile Shell 3.5.x, Titanium, PointUI, Androkkid, or the classic Today screen.

Install Instructions :
Disable your TouchFLO under Today –> Settings,
install the .cab
reboot the device
re-enable TouchFLO.

To toggle between the 3 screens (regular clock, analog-only or both), simply tap the area below the HTC Task Manager.

Known issues:
Does not play nicely in landscape Mode
analog clock shows “AM” ( even when its PM ) [ next update should fix this ]

Ark_N from htcpedia.com has released a package which simplifies the process of installation of the SE Xperia X2 Panel Manager & Panels. Extract the contents of the ZIP file and install the files to device memory. Each CAB is numbered and should be installed in that order, soft reset when you are asked to do so. you will also find a pre-selection of Panels to install onto your device.
