Last Saturday, I was unfortunate enough to pick up my Nokia Lumia 1020 only to find it turned off, when I switched it on I was greeted by an error message on the screen saying ‘Error: Unable to locate a bootable option. Press any key to shut down’. I was instantly filled with dread as I feared the worst. I sent a tweet to @NokiaHelps and I was forwarded to Nokia Tech Support on the web, I went through soft reset, hard reset, factory software recovery, all to no avail. The website then kindly booked a warranty repair and on Monday morning UPS came to collect my phone, my first surprise in my experience.
