Waze is here for Windows Mobile and Symbian users, Waze is the first free turn-by-turn GPS app that uses crowd sourcing to detect real time traffic conditions. Users can also communicate information to each other about whats happening on the road (police, accidents, construction, cheap gas etc) straight from their phones in real time.

YoMoMedia RSS for Windows Mobile

YoMoMedia is a brand new RSS reader for Windows Mobile and is quickly turning out to be a must have app for Windows Mobile. It offers some unique features, which sets it apart from other RSS clients. YoMoMedia also has a web application and it syncs your feed between these applications. The mobile app also gives you an option to send interesting feeds to your friends. The interface is quite nice and finger friendly too. To top it all off, it’s free. So give this app a go and let us know if you like it.

Microfi Nitrogen

Microfi Nitrogen is a native opensource Windows Mobile application that allows you to play MP3/OGG songs stored on your Pocket PC device.
It features a file browser, full skin support, smart shuffle and repeat modes, a 10-band equalizer with preset support (8 included presets), built-in sleep mode, a blank screen command to prevent energy waste while playing music and many more new features. Nitrogen uses the MAD/OVD decoders, which are opensource. As the official releases of MAD for Pocket PC seem to be discontinued, Nitrogen uses the libraries from an opensource player (GSPlayer).
Nitrogen was build due to the lack of finger-friendly players for Pocket PC (you have to use stylus even for simple tasks). It features large buttons and you can browse among your playlist by drawing circles on the screen (using skins which support wheel component). In future releases the program will be expected to have other extensions support and more features, but such things are still being tested to ensure stability and efficiency.

ShootMe! is a fantastic accelerometer enabled app that mimics the shotgun , its a fun application and you can use the pump action of a shotgun to fire the weapon. It also add some nice “treat” that you can enable or disable, eg ; in the shotgun feature after you fire the weapon the phrase ” Asta La Vista Baby ” is played to give the TERMINATOR feel to the user. Reminds me of Terminator Salvation that will be released in Australia on June 4.

The app also have lot of other options like

Light Saber
Boxing Glove.

The paid version also adds some cool feature like
