AppVegas a new app discovery app for Windows Phone

Seles Games will be launching a new app discovery tool called AppVegas .. we have seen quite a few apps like these from wp7applist, appflow, and an Australian version in the form of Developed Down Under. Even though such apps add one extra step to search for apps via the marketplace.. they do offer something valuable which is the reason why most of them seem to do well in the marketplace.

AppVegas takes the concept of slot machines and adds that to the app selection process.. there are 3 filters that you can choose from category of the app, the rating it has and the pricing structure each of which is represented by a slot and you can lock / unlock either of them give your phone a shake and the app will randomly pick out an app / game for you. This can be handy if you want to look for apps from certain category or only free app , etc. Along with this the app also has the traditional list of best apps split by categories and a featured app section. The developers have also informed us that they only consider apps which got a minimum rating score to be listed in the app which should give you better odds at finding a good app while using AppVegas. AppVegas does offer a live time which seems to pull icons of various apps on the flip side ( I have not found any particular use for that yet ).

The app was designed by our own Yanko. The app should be hitting the marketplace soon , we will let you guys know once that happens. It is available now
