AppDeals is a new app that aims to help users track down all the latest apps / games that are going on sale. With xbox live games every week we see Deal of the Week where users can grab games on sales. With this new AppDeals concept Ahead Solutions tries to bring a similar concept to all the apps and games , so now users can easily see all the apps and games on sale or even those that have gone free for a limited time.
At the moment , there are not a lot of deals going on , hopefully with more developers becoming aware of this we should see more deals offered via the app. The interface is very simple with a bit of design inspiration from newspaper coupon. You get to see 10 deals , there is no way to filter / sort these results in this version of the app. The pivot control lets you swipe across to the featured apps section. The user can also enables email alerts , toggle push notification or share a deal on social networks. Developers can also contact Ahead Solutions via email from the app to inform them of the deals they wish to show in the app. Pinning the app to the home screen , will show you the latest deal when it flips over. Some of the stuff I look fwd to see include the ability to nominate an app and get notification when a deal is on offer for that particular app, the ability to filter deals.
