michealmyers who managed to extract the BlockBuster App for Windows Mobile has also posted the AmazonMP3 App from the T-Mobile HTC HD2 ROM. It allows you to browse and purchase music from Amazon directly onto your phone. It displays well on WVGA Screen but you will see scroll-bars on VGA device. If you click a song it opens WMP and plays a clip (about 15 seconds) so you can hear it before you buy it. If you do try and buy using this app plz do let us know if it works.

Dont have a QRcode Reader on your Windows Mobile Phone ? Try this one from upcode.fi
IMPORTANT NOTE : If there is no download or multiple files to download for this app, the QRcode will be linked to the the current page on 1800PocketPC.com or to the download url provided by the developer.

The search function does not work at all and the rest of the UI is a bit wonky. I have not tried buying something with it because I could not search for something to buy. But this is a step in the right direction. I have been waiting for such an app since Amazon started selling MP3s. I am running a HTC Touch Pro
thanks for letting us know about it
Installed on my HD2 error came up saying requires newer version of Microsoft.NET compact framework…….any ideas, can and how would I do this?
The Amazon MP3 app did not work on my HTC Pure. Installed, looked OK, could navigate through songs, etc., but would not play samples or authenticate and complete purchases.
