Hi fellas

Here is a short blurb about me :

My name is Saijo George, I am huge Windows Phone fan and have been covering a lot of news , app / game review related to the platform. I have Engineering degree in Computer Science from CSI College of Engineering near Ooty and Masters in IT from Latrobe University in Melbourne.

In 2008 I setup 1800PocketPC as a hobby project , armed with a Dopod 838Pro ( HTC Hermes ) i was on the lookout for cab file that allowed me to push the device to the extreme and make the most out of the device. There were a lot of resource available via xda-dev but it was a bit hard to find for someone new to the platform. So my goal was to have a site that Hermes users could come to to download the best apps ( most of which were freewares that devs would push out on xda-dev ), as time went by we started to cover news and apps related to other Windows Mobile devices. Then once iPhone was launched in Australia i started to use that as one of my primary device , I also had a HTC Diamond / Touch Pro at that time that I used to review the apps on and eventually Microsoft pulled the plug on Windows Mobile and announced Windows Phone and I immediately knew that I have to start covering news, apps and game ( so I set up BestWP7Games.com ) for this new mobile OS from Microsoft .. and that is what we are doing now and hope to do that in the future ..

The Windows Phone sites does not earn enough for me to quit my day job , I work for an online dating website LoveID and cover the app / game review in my spare time. I also spend a lot of time playing console games : BlackOps / Warhawk would have taken up most of my gaming time. ( currently a PS3 owner, xBox hasn’t given me enough reasons to switch. But with more integration on xBox with Windows Phone I might soon head down the xbox path ).

Things I love : learning and implementing new stuff on SEO , Windows Phone , Gaming and Good Food ( nom , nom )

Things I hate : I usually try and avoid trying to hate anyone or anything but there are a lot of things I dislike but they are my personal options and experiences that led to those and I am not comfortable sharing it :D
