820 + T-Mobile = 810

Nokia have just announced that T-Mobile is going to have its own variety of the Lumia 820, called the 810.

I must say that calling it the 810 (not the 830 or 821 or something like that) sounds like a step in the wrong direction, but thankfully, despite the number being lower, the specs have stayed the same. In fact, the only differences according to WPCentral are the physical design & weight, sporting a more square case. (I’m also guessing that a pink T-Mobile  theme will come as default.)

In my previous article about the Lumia 820 & 920, I made it clear I preferred the look of the 820. Whilst I still intend on getting a 920 as soon as I can afford one, the 810 has become my favourite of the three, simply based on looks.

So, what do you folks think of the 810? Are you fussed about an edgier design; would you go as far as move networks to get the 810 instead of 820?

Let us know your thoughts, drop us a comment!

What are the odds this version doesn’t have an sd card slot like the 820? Won’t be surprised if this only has 8gb of onboard storage.

but it looks really nice, like it more than the round edges of the 820… I guess probably won’t come to Switzerland though.
