2012 Imagine Cup Australian Finals : May 1st in Melbourne

Imagine Cup is an annual competition sponsored by Microsoft. The Imagine Cup comprises multiple technology competitions, including Software Design, Game Design and from last year we also saw Windows Phone section in the mix. We just got word from Microsoft that the Australian finals of the Imagine Cup will be held in Melbourne this May where we are promised a battle between the TOP FIVE Australian Software Design Imagine Cup teams for a chance to compete on the international stage at the Worldwide Finals in July.

The Date: Tuesday 1 May 2012
The Place: Cinema 2, Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), Federation Square, Flinders St, Melbourne

The Schedule:

• Student Presentations start at 3:00pm – aim to arrive at 2:30pm.
• Student Presentations finish at 5:30pm, followed by a guest speaker.
• The Final Ceremony will be held in the Lightwell in ACMI from 6pm – 7pm. Come along for the announcement of the Imagine Cup winners and for your chance to win an Xbox and Kinect package. There will be drinks and canapés for you to enjoy!
