In a recent PocketNow article they got a tip saying WP7 can open up zip files from a webpage and you can view the content in the zip file.
“Windows Phone 7 emulator is actually able to open ZIP files that you may click on from a website. A window will appear asking if you want to open the Zip file, then a new window will show the contents of the Zip file. If any of the files are of formats that are supported by the operating system, you’ll be able to open those as well.
But they also state that WP7 will not support PDF at launch, now that is disappointing. What do you guys think ?

WP7 is every day more disappointing. If it’s not a mature product M$ is not obliged to release it. M$ should remember that they’re not Apple and they have not the same marketing power of Steve Jobs which is able to sell even non-working products to his faithful customers and make them believe that defects are features!
I think that someone (preferably adobe) gets a move on & simply creates a PDF reader.
For all we know, there will be a PDF app at launch, its simply not built into the OS.
