Long Zheng posted this video by an Aussie designer Barton Smith this prototype UI branded with the Microsoft label could land up on a Microsoft device. If you look closely you can see that the Prototype UI shows Optus Network being used ( top right corner ), Optus is a mobile service provider in Australia. So WM7 ? Zune Phone ? We expect some element from this UI to show itself in the Zune Phone a.k.a Multimedia version of WM7.

Here are some of the features of the Locus OS Concept :
- Multiple widget desktops designed around a location or activity ie Kitchen, Office, Car
- Automatically switches between desktops with GPS and wi-fi mapping
- Simplified Collections menu allows browsing via function rather than application

On a device like the HD2 this UI could work but if the screen is any smaller the UI would be a pain to use.. thoughts ?

That is the interface that they should have put on their tablet. it looks like it is suited for a larger screen imo.
