mIQ from Best Buy Mobile helps users sync their contacts, text messages, calendar events, calls, photos, videos, and internet favorites from their mobile phones to their private web-based mIQ account. Once in sync, the user can backup and interact with their information, share their experiences with friends and social sites, and restore their content when moving from one phone to the next. Content instantly transfers between the phone and the web without requiring any user interaction – ensuring users are always backed up and have access to the most up-to-date information.

Service will go Live on Monday, October 12. In the meantime, users can sign-up for account invites by visiting http://miqlive.com/account_requests. Once live, users will be able to sign-up on the web, or if they buy a smartphone from Best Buy Mobile, it will be installed in-store on the user’s phone via Best Buy Mobile’s Walk Out Working program.
