Recoding a telephone conversation, might not be legal in many countries. If its against the law in your county. plz dont use this app. Typical use of this app is in situations like recoding an interview with permission to record from both the person

In Call Recording

A program to record the conversation on HTC devices, it might also work with other devices. This app is for QVGA devices , a VGA Patch is also available. If you have a custom dialer, or another recoding app (like Resco Audio Recorder and Vito Audio Notes) this app might not work. In the case of a call when you press the record button to call the contact’s name will appear in front of the red dot indicating the recording is in progress. You can save the conversation in .AMR or .WAV format to your storage card or device memory.

WARNING : I haveNOT tried it on my device, and would recommend doing a FULL BACKUP of your device , just in case something goes wrong

Install Instructions :

Install ICRQVGA.cab
Soft reset
Optional Step
- [Additional Step for HTC VGA devices ] If you are having a HTC VGA device, install ICR VGA Patch.cab
- [Additional Step for NON HTC devices ] If your device is not from HTC install Other devices Patch.cab

The install worked on the HTC Touch Pro, but with the second icr-vga-patc.cab my phone says it could not install because it could not make a adjust or due not the right systempermission.

installed on my ATT Blackjack II along with the patch and it has a shortcut for it but theres no record fuctionwhen i hit the soft key during a call and when i click on the shortcut it says "Can't find 'ICR' (or one of its components) make sure the path and file name are correct and that all the require libraries are available."

HTC removed the call recorder in most regions, but some devices in China had the app. This was ripped of some of those ROMS i guess. But no one seems to get it working .I am looking for other alternatives.

i have touch hd and i tried to call record but that is not working,if HTC is not issued one call recoreder software , so it is third class compny.

Does not work with an HTC PPC6800 (Alltel). Got the following error when trying to run: "the file ICR cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring the file". Reinstalling did not work. Uninstalled it.

Hi. As I know HTC devices doesn't allow recording from line. Only from microfone.
So what about recording quality ?

Can't see the "Start Recording" option. I installed and restarted but its like nothing happened, I tried clicking the icon in programs while i was on the phone but didn't work. I have a HTC Touch Pro (CDMA), anyhting I'm doing wrong??
