HACK : Increase Touchscreen sensitivity on Diamond & Touch Pro

Only for HTC Diamond & Touch Pro, might also work on HD but try it @ your own risk

If you find that the touchscreen sensitivity of your HTC Touch diamond or the Touch Pro is poor then try this simple hack and it will make your life a lot easier. It claims to increase the touchscreen sensitivity of these devices. If you dont like to get your hands dirty, just install the cab and reboot your device, cab file is after the break.

[code="css"]Go to HKLM/Drivers/TouchPanel using your registry editor
Change the PressureThreshold value to 80866 in decimal ( NOT hex )
Now goto HKLM/Software/OEM/TFLOSettings, Change FingerPressure value to 1 in decimal ( NOT hex )
Soft-Reset your device[/code]

    Omg i need help, i downloaded it, then dragged the zip into the internal storage file on my comp (with my htc diamond connected) then it showed up on my phone as "touch response..." then i installed it and chose internal storage, then i finaly found the folder, but theres only alittle file thats called sunny that just opens wordpad.
    OMG i really need this so please help

    works great, typing and 'flicking' are much easier in menus/opera! simple yet effective. could be even more sensitive, or maybe it due to my screen protector (its sorta soft plastic)....
  • What the Frack?!
    I used HEX to change mine to 240.

    I noticed that if you re-calibrate the screen it resets itself. Mine goes down to 33-36 HEX if I do that.
