GSen 1.8 – auto screen rotation for Touch Diamond using the accelerometer

GSen

We know the Omnia supports screen rotation using the accelerometer for most applications, now the Touch Diamond gets the same feature thanks to this little freeware from s-k-tools.com. This hack does NOT work with the Touch Pro as the Touch Pro will base most of its screen rotation on the sliding keyboard instead. For the Diamond, you can use the screen rotation feature on most applications, if not all, which is initiated by turning your device and activating the motion sensors.

It even allows to exclude applications (like Opera Mobile which doesn’t need GSEN) or vice versa, to select which applications should be used. In addition it has a nice add-on feature which lets you turn the device in standby mode by turning the device to screen.

I agree completely with Stevo. I just installed it on my HTC Touch HD and it works great with Outlook and other programs. I highly recommed it. HTC should have included this in Touchflo from the beginning.

Brilliant on HTC Touch HD. Installs and works without any configuration required to run. Doesn't change Touchflo which is great, but email, texting, MS Word, notes - all rotate fine and the full width qwerty keyboard much easier to use than in portrait. Great job.
