Tutorial : How to install TouchFLO 2d

Step by step on how to install the Manilla 2D interface on your HTC QVGA device. I have tried this on my TyTN and it works like a treat all credits to herg62123 from xda-developers. I installed everything but Opera browser on to device memory.

Instruction:
When ever the device says you need to restart after a cab installation , plz restart the device.
1. install M2D-Beta-0.07.cab
Go to START -> SETTINGS -> TODAY -> ITEMS tab and uncheck TOUCHFLO
2. install OX-ManilaCompatibleSharedDLL.cab
3. install ContactFix.cab
4. install 2d_Audio_manager.cab
5. install Audio_Booster.cab
6. install HTCAlbum.cab
7. install OutlookEnhancement.cab
8. install AdobeFlash3.1_plugin.cab
9. install Fullscreen_Player.cab
10. install GoogleMaps_compressed.cab
11. install TaskManager.cab
12. install HTCYouTube.cab
open 13. D Comm Manager folder
13. install 1st D CommManager.cab
14. install 2nd D Comm Manager
open 14. OPERA 1957 folder
15. install Opera_Default_REG.cab
16. install Opera9.5.1957device.WWE1.cab ( installed on to storage card )
Go to START -> SETTINGS -> TODAY -> ITEMS tab and check TOUCHFLO

Go to the home Screen and enjoy awesomeness

UNDER NOT NEEDED FOLDER IS THE ITEMS NOT NEEDED BUT NICE TO HAVE.

hi have try this software in htc touch 3g model t3232 but when i select touchflo in today menu and ok . then tab to touchflo not start, what i can do for this error, i have 4gb external micro sd card are there.

Hi.
I downloaded all files and started insalling.
Everthing works fine. At the end of intall it says " tab for starting touch flo"..... I tap... "starting touch flo" .. and then.. nothing... onl "tab for starting..." ... restart don't work

Please help.

after we install it on omnia , we got problems with opening some media files:
1- (audio on opening MMS not working)
2- (can not open files with windows media player)

I have a Touch dual and I'm interested on installing the Touchflo 2D, but I have to do some questions first:

1.) Is there any coincidence to damage my device (example: stop starting up)?
2.) If I would like (but, I don't think) to uninstall Touch flo 2D, is there any coincidence to cause problems?
3.) I have WM 6, it works better with WM 6.1?
4.) Touch dual's processor is at 400 MHz, It will work too slowly, after the installation?

5.) The cube is going to be disabled (or work too slow)?
6.) What will happen if I install it incorrectly, can I uninstall it safely?

And the last question:

7.) Has anybody installed this correctly in a Touch dual? Everything works perfect?

it will onlu come after you install M2D-Beta-0.07.cab, which is step 1

I have the Verizon Wireless XV6900 (HTC Touch) and when I go to START, SETTINGS, TODAY, and ITEMS... but I don't have the "TouchFlo" thingy to where I can unselect it. Will this download still work if I don't have this?

Its in English and should work on HTC QVGA devices, I dont think it will play nice with the Samsung i780

1. Is it able to install on Samsung i780 ?
2. Is it in English version ?
3. After the installation, can my Opera be automatically upgraded from 8.65 to 9.5 ??

hello, i have the same problem as david ( in the 1st posts), i have an htc tilt; everything works fine, but i can't open the comm manager. it says in suffucient memory, and i can't uninstall or install it right ? it won't let me do anything. please help, thanks.

well to all peepz having the problem of getting their htc to detect their audio files after performing the installations, you can actually detect and play it after removing HTC audio manager 2.0

ive done everything as instructed. here are my findings

1) audio manager cannot detect any songs

2) phone hangs to a black screen when glancing thru photos and when i tried to play video

any ideas on having these addressed..... or maybe if i could find a proper audio manager or HTCalbum to test if any might be working properly and also user friendly

me again,sorry for the inconvenience.

i installed it again after a hard reset,and it works just fine now,but with some issues:

1-can't add applications;i already added the notes on the fisrt icon,but it won't add any other apps.
2-the music tab
3-the pictures tad displays an "L" like black border on every photo

Hi,

I used dopod 838pro with WM6.1 and already installed this TouchFLO 2D. Everything is ok, except for the 'device lock'. How do I lock my phone since the device lock is disappear and sometimes it will launch the applications automatically without my knowledge.

1-yea i did reboot after uninstall,but it stayed the same.is it because the elf has a low processor?i mean should it normally work on the elf ornot?

5-i know it's touchFLO 2d,but i saw this 3d weather icons in the manilla2d UI.doesn't it work with this?

hi,
i installed it on my HTC elf,it works and it's so cool,but i have a couple of questions:

1-after i installed it,the original TouchFLO cube became really slow,and the device overall became slow,though the memory usage was low.even after i uninstalled it the device remained like that.is it because of the processor or what?

2-in the internet tab,the internet button doesn't launch the browser,though i had opera pre-installed already.

3-the lower taskbar buttons changed to programs and phone,is there anyway to restorethem?

4-the music player doesn't work

5-isn't the weather interface supposed to be like the diamond's,i mean this 3d one?
