Samsung Omnia User Interface on your device plus more

The good folks over @ xda-dev has done it again, the Omnia Today Screen can be put on to any touchscreen device running Windows Mobile.

Install Instructions:

Install AdobeFlashLite 2.1
Install Samsung Omnia SMPlayer/Touch Player
Install Opera 9
Install Samsung Omnia Today Plugins
Put your pictures into \\My Documents\\My Pictures folder on your device (not storage card)
For Kaiser/Other device with screen height 320 Install SJ GrandP_320.cab and Install SJ DCINOBAR.cab to remove the taskbar.

The cab also will create some shortcuts on Programs\Omnia Goodies. One of them is Contents Manager/Media Album, it’s better than HTC album. Notes: SMPlayer/Touch Player currently can only play 3gp video (maybe few other format too)

If any of you have problems with starting widget today plugin, extract the attached file to your \windows folder and all of your problems will be gone. Also this file solves the issues of running the SmPlayer LsOmaClient.zip

I need help changing sosme of the WIDGETS on the TODAY SCREEN of my SAMSUNG OMNIA.

And, WIDGETS is not anywhere on my SETTINGS menu.

i havea problem playing 3gp videos on my omnia... i have the wozzers ROM installed and i had to reinstall the SMplayer, but now all i have is sound and no videos. Does anyone know how to fix this?

i installed everything on my atom-v and it worked fine, a few widget cannot be executed but i guess it's because i have'nt copy-paste the LsOmaClient.zip
on my windows folder.
the thing is i cannot turn off this omnia home screen, and therefore cannot copy-paste the LsOmaClient.zip
because the file is still in use.
please advice how to temporarily disable the omnia look so i can copy-paste the LsOmaClient.zip??

@gita : Try this

From the Today Screen:
1. Go to SETTINGS
2. Select TODAY icon
3. Select ITEMS tab (at the bottom)
4. UNCHECK the "Omnia" item(s)
5. Click OK and go back to the Today Screen
6.Reboot

i have a problem with the sony ericsson x1
the plugins runs very good but i a very small place on my screen .... it doesn't fit all the screen

i was able to install the flashlite and the palyer but when i try and install plugin 1 and 2 it gets about halfway and then just stops and says unsuccessfu. using a htc touch witht he 6.1 rom

Hey all, I have this working on my xv6800 my only real question is how do I make it not beep or click or whatever you want to call it every time i touch the sidebar or a widget...kind of annoying can't find a way to mute it without muting other important features of my phone.

Use winrar ( http://www.rarlab.com/ ) and extract the content from the rar file. ( on pc )

or use RAR for PocketPC: http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2008/07/02/winrar-3...

and extract the content directly on your device
