HTC MyConnect 2.0, TouchBook & PL@NET – Released by HTC

HTC MyConnect 2.0 and PL@NET were released by HTC. PL@NET is a mobile service portal for Taiwan which apparently went live on the 1st of July but the portal is not in English , but you can have a look around and read through most of it using an online translator. HTC claims that this service aims to bring a host of shopping, travel and entertainment services to mobile phones.
HTC MyConnect 2.0 looked like its an application for the mobile device which connects to PL@NET and the user can access the service offered by HTC via PL@NET. The application is not in english either. you can download it from here. Once u launch the application , If u dont have Chinese language file you will get a box which might be asking you a Yes on No question. I wasnt able to connect to any pages by clicking on those fancy icons you see to your right. If any of you guys are from Taiwan and if you are able to use this service please inform us about your experience with this new service from HTC. According to HTC this platform will give handset users access to several Internet retailers, including travel planning from ezTravel, music from Warner Music, books from Eslite, online magazines from Touch Book, news from UDN, scenic-spot information sharing from NaviGuide, concert tickets from Era Ticket and Arts Ticket, and shopping via HappyGoCard.
Well the last 2 service were not of much help to me, now lets look @ TouchBook. You can see a flash presentation of the application . I was able to launch the application , i think its an online book / magazine download client. You can browse through various topics and get book related to that topic downloded to your mobile device. If some one who can understand the language can try this and get back to us with feedback about the experience from these service that would be great.
