Opera Mobile 9.5 build 781 – HTC Touch Diamond

Finally an Opera mobile 9 that works on the Pocket PC ( with out all messed up images ). Supposedly this version is a rip from the HTC Touch Diamond. It runs a bit faster too compared to the older Opera 9 .

Note :

* It seems to get installed in to phone memory regardless of where u choose to install it
* Need to reboot for it to work
* CAN be uninstalled

Opera 9.5

    Correction: The T-Mobile Wing shipped with WinMo Pro in the US (owned it for over a year) and stays that way in their latest official rom too.
  • Didn't work on my T-Mobile Wing, then when I tried to uninstall it screwed a lot of stuff up.

    I figured it was an OS related problem rather than having anything to do with the S730. A big "blah" at developers for favoring mobile professional prior to standard. Caress us low-budget internet surfers with some of that candied joy as well!

    Let's just get it straight: Opera Mobile 9.5 will most likely install on mobile standard (smartphone), maybe even run on it, but not in a million years does it seem to actually work and open websites. That was kind of my point from the beginning. Thanks for the reply, let's hope they brew up something good for us smartphone people too!

    Will install and run on HTC S730 (Wings), but will not work (QVGA version). Attention all S730 users: wait for the proud and final release of Opera Mobile 9.5. It'll be worth it.
