Replace Windows Taskbar on PocketPC

Are you bored of the Windows Mobile taskbar , is it taking up too much of the today screen real estate, here is a cool new theme which replaces the taskbar.

Replace Windows Taskbar on PocketPC

1. put the vjtoggletodayalphaII into the Windows\StartUp folder. Go to Registry: HKLM\Software\Vijay555\VjTodayToggle\ and set the values under “Startsize” and “Softkeysize” to “1“.
2. Install Batterystatus (if you have ultimate launch: it works as a today plugin)
3. Put the folder “SmartUtilities_FilesOnly” to Windows\Programs.
4. put the bluephone.xml and the bluephone folder to the batterystatus folder.
5. If you now can`t see every row , click and hold with stylus on the plugin and choose all “4″ rows for showing and choose “lock” rows.
6. Now you have to do some changes because this is for german version of windows: open the bluephone.xml with your windows editor on your PC or with totalcommander on your ppc:
6.1 you find in the middle a path for: programme\smartutilities_filesonly, change it to programs\….
6.2 you find at the end a path for: “\windows\tmail.exe….” there you see “freenet.de“: You can replace this with you own email account. then you can read “Posteingang“: replace it with “Inbox“.
6.3 you find there a row with the date like this one – text=”dddd, d. MMMM yyyy”- you can change this because this is the european version of date (see picture)
then save the xml file and put it back to your ppc.
- thats it.
- If you want the grey look put all this grey graphics to your ppc in the “bluephone” folder and replace the old graphic.
- if you like it funny a made this Ducktales- sound graphics for you. You find them in “othergraphics”, just replace the originals with them. You can mix all my graphics. All wifi/bluetooth icons are with german or english text (on/off)
- at this time am/pm is not working just 24-hours clock.
- the tabs at the bottom are not part of this, you can find them in my iconthread for Ultimatelaunch.
