About Yanko Andreev
Yanko Andreev has written 44 post in this blog.
A freelance graphic designer, illustrator and photographer. Currently I work as a map operator designer and UI developer, but In my free time, I enjoy working on concept art projects and ideas. I'm a big fan of Metro user interface and Microsoft’s latest products, based on the new Metro style. I love Windows Phone, because of the complete new style – METRO. It’s modern and clean. It’s fast and in motion. It’s about content and typography, and it’s entirely authentic. Most of people know me by my MetroStation icons.

Also, if any of the ideas are good enough & possible to make, then Ill try & get them in there for you :D
That’s will be great!
Delete “add comment” by clicking the textbox; grey out headlines of read articles; featured News is unnecessary double info because it’s just the latest news [Posted from the 1800PocketPC app]
The featured news page can be changed to show the latest article from any of the feeds. Its just an easy way to get a view of the latest info that you care about as soon as you open the app.
A $1 version so I don’t have to look at ads [Posted from the 1800PocketPC app]
That is not a bad idea. Ill add that in a future update.
Hmm looks like the comment text box isn’t using the Toolkit textbox that you can have a hint on – I have to delete the text first. Also somehow the comments need to be grouped into their reply streams and we need to be able to reply to individual streams. How, I wouldn’t have a clue. [Posted from the 1800PocketPC app]
Thank you for the suggestion, I only actually read about the textbox with a hint a few days ago. Ill be adding it in the next update.
Putting the comments into reply streams would be great, but I dont quite know how Id do it :( I will look into it though.
Chris before you even consider revamping or updating the app can you PLEASE fix it! I had sent you an e-mail with the bugs I’m encountering with screenshots and I haven’t even heard back from you. I don’t want to lose all of my achievements again by reinstalling the app, only to find out the bugs might still persist. I love the app but it sucks that I’m having to open up the browser whenever I want to read an article.
Sorry I havent got back to you. I do recieve a lot of emails about the app & cant reply to all of them. I especially got a lot of emails to do with the settings/achievements bug which I have figured out now & the next update will do away with it entirely. I am very sorry though, it was a stupid little mistake which went un-noticed :(
Sorry, that probably came across the wrong way. I know you’re a busy, talented man and honestly I do appreciate your hard work, even if only for a really good app, but right now it’s a bit useless because I keep getting a “KeyNotFoundException” that is preventing me from reading any articles alongside occasional other errors that would probably fixed in the process (at least the app is loading again which is better than before). The achievement bug was unfortunate but it’s forgivable as they’re not a part of our XBL GS, just a nice little bonus that most apps don’t even offer.
